It’s been one life changing year for HALLE BERRY, who turns 42 today. After two famously embarrassing divorces, the actress (seen in the pic above last week at the ABFF) declared some years ago that first on her list of priorites was to become a mother.
So when the Academy Award Winner, along with her gorgeous Canadian model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry announced they were expecting last September, she was met with a general sense of supportive elation.

And on the morning of March 16th, Halle & Gabriel welcomed Nahla Ariela Aubry into their family. She is the first child for both and the couple has been very upfront that they do not plan to marry. And while the world waited for their first glimpse at baby Nahla, Halle concentrated on learning motherhood and of course getting back to the red carpet siren she’s perfected.

As the summer went on, pressure mounted to get a glimpse of little Nahla. But despite what seems to be an alarming celebrity trend, Halle bucked the new tradition and proclaimed she would not be working with any magazine to sell pictures of her newborn daughter, explaining she had no desire to exploit the baby.
But that didn’t stop an aggressive papparrazo from tresspassing onto Berry’s private Bev Hills property and snapping the mother with her child. Several websites reposted the picture (we removed the picture once Halle spoke out that the pic was a result of tresspassing) and Halle jumped into protective mother mode and issued a cease and decissed order and filed charges against the pap.
And now what? Halle’s getting back to work!
The Golden Globe winner has signed on to star in and produce the psychological drama Frankie and Alice, according to Variety. The film centers on a woman who suffers from multiple personality disorder, particularly troubling as one of the personalities is a racist White Chick. No start date has been set.
