HAS THE DESTINY’S CHILD ALBUM CURSE FINALLY HIT BEYONCE?

Rumor has it, that BEYONCE’S tracks were scheduled to be delivered to her label today, in time for a fourth-quarter release. Whomp whomp.

Insiders are speculating that her busy acting schedule as well as a vacationing Justin Timberlake have all led to slow recording and the tracks simply aren’t ready. This will be an issue as Sony has banked a lot of money on one of their biggest artists’ fourth-quarter release.

“It’s not going to be completed,” said a source close to folks who’ve been working on the CD to Rush & Molloy. “She’s got to get it out early in the fourth quarter, when there’s so much competition among artists.”

B will release two singles, “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies,” to radio this Tuesday.

However Sony’s labelhead, Rob Stringer tells a different story.

“Normally I would lie low, but we think the first two singles will be utterly huge. They’re two of the best songs of her career. Beyoncé is incredibly hardworking, and [the album] is 97%-98% done. It’ll be out before Nov. 20. Frankly, we think the whole record is going to be huge.”
