The grown folks were out in force last night as OPRAH hosted a private party to celebrate her good friend SUSAN TAYLOR’S 37 years at Essence Magazine. Taylor served as EIC for 19 years before transitioning to the Director position. Taylor retired in 2007 to persue her non-profit work. 

Joining the two diva titans in celebration were DIDDY, the REV. AL SHARPTON and COMMON. Guests were treated to a special performance by gospel songstress YOLANDA ADAMS. 

Looks like Lady O is dropping some LB’s in anticipation of her big January “Best Life” show…Good for her.
