NATE, MIKE, SHAWN & WAN held celebrated their 20th (yup, twentieth) anniversary and Motown’s 50th with a Q&A at Borders in Westwood. 

The group, heralded as one of the most successful R&B group of all-time, was founded in the fall of 1988 – then as a quintuplet with then front-man Marc Nelson. It took a few years and the departure of Nelson, but the boyz got it together and went on to sell more than 60 million records.
