After weeks of public speculation, FANTASIA BARRINO has cut a last minute deal to save her North Carolina home – which was days away from the auction block. 

The home, which was purchased for $746,00 shortly after her American Idol win, is valued at $1.1 mil. The singer reportely owed $58,000 to Broward Energy Partners for back taxes. The company had been very vocal in their quest for money, releasing a statement claiming the singer had failed to respond to every attempt to collect. 

Details on the deal Barrino was able to strike with the company has not surfaced but both parties have confirmed that the home is safe. For now.
