And the war rages on between DAMON DASH and ex-girlfriend Linda Williams – the mother of his 17 year-old son, Damon Jr (aka Boogie).
After years of peace – Dash took primary custody of the boy in 2002 – However Boogie left his father’s Manhattan home and went to live with his mother in Long Island last summer. Problems began in the fall when Dash petitioned family court, claiming Williams was holding his son hostage. (CLICK HERE for the full story)
Boogie was returned to the custody of the elder Damon in December but now new problems have risen as Williams claims her son is the victim of educational neglect. She reached out to Page Six – first last week responding to the papers reports that Dash allowed the teen to DJ at NYC’s Plumm Nightclub on New Years Eve.
“A child should not be in an adult club that serves alcohol. Did anyone even check my son’s ID? His father should stop trying to make a dollar off of him and get him back into high school.”
And she once again has spoken to the gossip page – this time claiming Dash has failed to enroll their son in school since regaining custody.
“Out of the blue, my son tells me he wants to live with his father,” Williams told Page Six. “He left here Dec. 2 and hasn’t been in school since.”
An unnamed source for Dash ensured the paper that Boogie was simply out for holiday break and that he would be returning to school this week.
Both parties are due back in court next week.
