Few details are emerging, however Access Hollywood is reporting that TAMEKA FOSTER-RAYMOND, wife of USHER, has been hospitalized in Brazil following complications of a cosmetic procedure.
Foster-Raymond, the mother of five boys (the youngest two – Usher V, 2, & Naviyd Eli, 2 months – belonging to her husband of three years), has been in the country to receive an unnamed cosmetic procedure while her husband partook in this weeks Grammy festivities.
However, a mere two hours before he was to take the stage at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, Usher cancelled – siting a family emergency. Singer Josh Grobin filled in in his place.
Usher is said to be enroute to San Paolo, along with Dr. Gabriel Hunt a Los Angeles area neurosurgeon. Hunt specializes in tumors and nerve damage as it relates to the spinal cord.
While again it is unclear exactly what the procedure was, Brazil is widely known as the capitol of plastic surgery – specifically for their techniques in butt implants.
Usher’s camp has refused to comment.
