After 11 days of hospitalization, TAMEKA FOSTER-RAYMOND has been released from São Paulo’s Sírio-Libanês, the Brazilian hospital where she was being treated for complications from a lipo surgery.
Reps for the hospital confirmed that Foster checked out last night – however it is unknown whether she remains in the country at this time, and what her recovery process entails.
However it IS known that her husband, USHER has returned stateside, after catching a flight back yesterday morning. As I’m sure you know by now, Ush cancelled his Grammy commitments to rush to his wife (of almost 3 years) side.
Foster, the 37 year old mother of 5 (including 2 month old Navyd) had been in Brazil to receive the cosmetic procedure but never made it that far. As she was being anestitized, apparently she went into cardiac arrest. She was quickly revived however doctors then put her into a medically induced coma as a safety precaution.
Reps for the family have previously said they’d be making no official statements about the incident.
Though I’m sure we can expect another spread in Essence sometime this year.
