Well the industry has been abuzz for days now, debating f Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy party would be the stage for the one an only MS. WHITNEY HOUSTON to make her live performance in several years…

Several hundred guests were made to wait all evening, sitting through dozens of speeches and shout outs to everyone from PRINCE to SLY STONE to CHRIS BROWN (event pics to come). Finally, is fitting fashion, as the show closed, Davis introduced the woman he first brought to the world, some 25 years ago. 

Was it a perfect performance? No. In fact it felt more Vegas lounge act, then the refined diva we’re used to. But one fact remains the same, Ms. Houston just might make it back. And who can be mad at that?
