*UPDATE*
After being plagued with rumors of infidelity, domestic violence since its inception, the marriage between TYRESE (nee Tyrese Gibson) and while Norma is ending.
The couple dated quietly for several years and welcomed a daughter, 2 year old Shayla, then wed in a Spring ceremony last year.
However, citing irreconcilable differences, Gibson, 29, filed for divorce from his wife of almost 10 months in January.
Norma Gibson, according to radaronline.com, responded to her husbands petition with allegations of her own.
“Persons in the entertainment industry always seem to have a fascinating ability to characterize their life choices as somehow different, more important and not a matter of choice, but a “requirement,” entitling them to special rules and considerations.”
The couple are due back in court for a hearing today.
*Today a LA superior court judge made a temporary ruling that Tyrese is still financially responsible to his soon to be ex-wife’s rent ($2,730), car note ($800), as well as support ($6,230 a month) and a lump-sum of $65,000.
Norma Gibson, who contends that she is a non-working, single mother of his only child, estimated that her husband made $800,000 in the the 10 months they were married.
Though she signed a pre-nuptual agreement, she is contesting it on the grounds of cruelty.

The world does not end because we have kids by celebrities, nor does the world revolve around a man……….your main focus should be Tye taking care of Shayla…That’s what’s wrong with women these days they think stuff should be handed to them. I’m a single mom of 4, three teenagers and I have made it on my own. You feel like he owes you something he owes you nothing he has a responsibility to Shayla. All I can say to Ty “is I told you so.” When something is meant to be you know sometimes you have to let your true feelings show. Keep your head up and don’t look back. Shayla’s your responsibilty and I can’t believe the courts wants you to pay all that money, a pre-nump is a pre-nump. Don’t stop doing what you do. I have known tyrese since he use to go over to my niece house on colden and vermont he has always respected women and always has had a smile on his face. She just wants to get a check without working for it and she should know to always have your own didn’t she know that if you sign a prenup that it means you don’t get extra money and only because he is tyrese / black tye it the reason the judge wants to give her the money for her apartment and car note plus monthly expense these females think that because they have become use to spending what a man has;that he has he has to continue i say get custody of the baby and let her get a job like the rest of us working people he worked hard to get where he is today i am so proud of tyrese,they say money is the root to all evil girl it can’t be that bad you can’t get your own
