Well look who’s on their way back…
After lackluster sales of waht was to be her comeback CD, BRANDY (nee Brandy Norwood) is readying a comeback to her second gig as well, acting.
The former Moesha star recently revealed to MTV News that she will be making her return to the small screen in a new pilot for The CW.
“It’s going to be me playing [a character based on] my life, but it’s not going to be me as Brandy,” she explained in an interview with MTV News.
The currently untiled half-hour sitcom will follow Brandy as she plays a ride or die New Yorker finding her way in Los Angeles while working as an Entertainment Editor.
“It’s going to be a totally different person, but with the same challenges that I go through in my life … being a single mom, raising my child, trying to have a life, trying to have friends and trying to do my own thing.”
The pilot, which will be co-produced by B and momager Sonja Norwood, was penned by our own fav Mara Brock Akil (the fly birlliance behind Grilfriends and The Game).
