When over 300 confidential internal documents leaked from Twitter’s inner circle, we got our first glimpse into the business strategy behind the phenomenon that has the globe tellin way too much of their business, 140 characters at a time. But with that comes the harsh truth behind what they really think of one of twitters most vocal supporters.
In one confidential memo (twitter has since authenticated the document and while they aren’t crazy about it, say they can live with the leak), they disscussed possibly giving ‘Advisor shares’ to SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS – assuming that the over-caffinated mogul would continue to pump twitter (and Ciroc) everywhere he goes.
According to the meeting minutes however, that was a short-lived thought. Turns out fundamental business differences and Comb’s inability to ‘understand what he’s doing wrong’ makes the multi-hyphanate ‘a distraction’.
OUCH! Think that’s why @iamdiddy has been laying low on the twitter front?

Who knows who wrote those docs — they’re barely coherent. I put the blame on Twitter for not getting their act together — Diddy was one of the leaders in making Twitter so popular the past few months.
Kelly i completely agree with you. How are these documents leaked from high level execs, if so twitter got some bigger issues with their management. Diddy is one of the only celebrities that is still relevant on twitter in my opinion. These documents prove that Diddy is cutting deals with Twitter, he deff gunna make the Forbes list next year haters!
I read the original article about this…how can anyone make a proper interpretation of these documents when they are all scattered and out of context. Diddy is an entertainer, as an entertainer he has an obvious obligation to keep in touch with his fan-base…being an entrepreneurial genius, of course he is going to take advantage of a social networking platform such as twitter.
nobody really believes the validity of these documents..there pretty much a bunch of words on a paper. I highly doubt it’s going to stop people from following diddy, least of all me..BOGUS doucuments..
