The 4th Annual Black Girls Rock Awards were held this weekend in NYC and they or course celebrated what else? You guessed it, Black girls!
Women of color from all walks of life were awarded for their achievements both in entertainment and everyday life. TRACEE ELLIS ROSS and REGINA KING hosted the awards with musical performances by JANELLE MONEE and MELANIE FIONA and presenters MARY J. BLIGE, QUEEN LATIFAH, NAOMI CAMPBELL and RAVEN-SYMONE.
