Well he did say he was taking time off…

After cancelling his much hyped Fame Kills Tour with Lady GaGa (sigh of relief), KANYE WEST skipped out on another gig last night, the BET hip hop awards. But get this, if yesterday’s reports are true, Ye is on his way to that much-talked about vaykay…In India.

Star Magazine (reliable source, I know), reports that West in traveling to Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry – a Indian Ashram where he can clear his mind and reassess his life.

Now I know this sounds crazy but remember when Dave Chappelle dipped out on his show and reports surfaced that he’d flown in the middle of the night to South Africa? That sounded crazy too. And it turned out to be true.

The President of the Universal Society of Hinduism issued a statement on Ye’s reported decision to visit the retreat, saying he supports the decision and encourages the emotional MC to ‘immerse himself in the rich philosophy of Hinduism while he was in India‘ and says he wants the third hottest MC in the game to take it seriously.

If in fact this report is true, West’s stay would be for thirty days and would include only himself and one body guard. Girlfriend AMBER ROSE would have to sit this one out.
