Let me begin by saying this rumor is extremely interesting.

According to the completely unreliable folks over at Mediatakeout, a Bravo TV insider let it slip that the network is talking to the wife of Lakers star Kobe,  Krazy VANESSA BRYANT trying hard to convince her to join this seasons cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Now of course you can never take anything they say at face value so I did some digging of my own – hitting up my own source over at Bravo and turns out the rumor is in fact true. While nothing is near official, the production company behind the network does have a shortlist of high-profile ladies on it to join their cast. Vanessa’s name does sit atop that list.

After adding singer/songwriter KANDI BURRESS to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the network say what a rating spike a high-profile castmate can do. So they’re looking to try that formula again for OC.

Now the real question is, would you watch Vanessa?
