  2. He is so right, and I think people are blind to that fact. If all you focus on is the man in the dress then you’re watching the movie with closed eyes. EVERY Tyler Perry movie and stageplay has MULTIPLE morals and messages that seek to make people question their sense of ethics and character. And does America not need that?

Hi. I enjoy his movies and do not feel like they are stereotyping blacks. I think everyone needs to lighten up and enjoy the movies because we all need to laugh and Tyler Perry does indeed make us laugh. I am bothered a bit by the language being a Christian and his usage of ‘pissed’ on the air disturbs me because he is a ‘believer’ and we have to show ourselves different from the ‘world’ in order to make an impact. But his movies always have a message and I am not going to surmise or judge him for what he does. That is up to God. But I think Spike Lee also does movies with a message and although I am white and they are not my kind of movie someone is affected likewise by his style. I think Madea is funny and the other characters are humorous and we need laughter in our dark society today. Don’t you all agree? PH
