So as I’m catching up on last night’s AMA’s (which I skipped cause this rapper guys wanted a second music video treatment…Don’t get me started), I came across the performance of new glam rock sensation ADAM LAMBERT. Now I’ve never paid attention to this dude and truthfully the only reason I even watched was because I wanted to finally see what all the hype was about…
So in three minutes he’s kissed both a man and a woman, dry humped everything and simulated a blow-job…On stage…On ABC prime time…Which is owned by Disney. But I bet you had a rapper had done this, there would be a public outcry…Do you agree?

are you serious? 1st: this did get public attention how else would you have known about it….duh….2nd: “rappers” if i dont recall have half naked hores boucing their fat asses all over the place in concerts and music videos and they are licking loli pops and you dont expect people to think they are really talking about loli pops….haha 3rd: HE was trying to prove something like eveyone else who trys to get attention
This did get quite a lot of attention actually, they even went so far as to cancel his appearance on ABC’s Morning Show. It was kind of funny, they were talking about his performance on CBS’s morning show and how hypocritical it was that they censored him kissing a guy when Britney Spears’ performance where she kissed Madonna wasn’t censored. And WHILE they were talking about this, the clip they showed of him kissing his keyboard player was censored. Hilarious. “How outrageously hypocritical, here is the clip in question, and we censored it just like the people we are criticizing for doing the same thing.”
You’re missing something here, FlyGirl. Note how everybody that talks about this on the media is drawing most of the attention to the kiss, and comparing it to Britney and Madonna. At the same time, they are purposely downplaying the simulated blowjob segment, which is probably the most objectionable thing about the performance. Yet, for every one mention that gets, there’s at least ten talking about the kiss.
Another thing. There’s no way this was spontaneous. Well, maybe the kiss with the keyboard player. Just maybe, but that’s even doubtful. But there’s no way I’m believing for one second the simulated blow job was spontaneous. That had to be rehearsed, because back-up dancers live, eat, and breathe choreography. They just don’t do spontaneous, and any attempts to draw them into something like that would throw off their timing, maybe not for long, but certainly long enough it would be noticeable. This was obviously rehearsed, which means Lambert is just full of shit.
By the way, thanks for supplying the pic. I am planning to do a post on this, which if I do I’ll give you a shout out.
