Looks like ?UESTLOVE got his wish. After months of deal-closing, heavyweights JAY-Z and WILL & JADA PINKETT SMITH have officially signed on to produce the Broadway sensation, Fela.

The story of Nigerian musician and activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti has enjoyed great reviews in previews and is set to open next Monday (November 23rd) at the O’Neil Theater, with it’s three biggest producers in attendance.

This will be the second time the Smiths have teamed up with Mr. Carter, the first being the 2005 collaboration to make the Brooklyn-based apothecary Carol’s Daughter a house-hold name…So perhaps this will make Team Smith/Carter 2-2.
