Well everybody’s gotta do something…And for OPRAH WINFREY that new ’something’ seems to be seedy sex practices…

The media queen (sorry Perez) has just inked a deal to bring a new series to HBO under her Harpo Films shingle. The Untitled hour-long series is about a woman who shockingly walks out on her husband and children for the sex-charged Los Angeles underbelly…And if you think this is going to be something fit for Hallmark, think again.

“It is unsentimental and pretty shocking, and there is something complicated and destructive driving her,” Executive Producer Kate Forte says to Variety. “It is literally a day at the pool, where she gets up, in sarong and flip-flops, and walks out of her life, leaving everyone behind so abruptly that her husband and kids initially think she’s been kidnapped or murdered.”

Described as gritty and unflinching, the execs over at HBO think the O’s new project will fit in just fine with their envelope-pushing reputation…Even if it is a little creepy that it’s coming from Ms. Winfrey.

I’ll check it out. But I’m selling my new TV the first time I hear someone one say ‘Smack me in my vajayjay’.
