The launch of VEVO in New York at Skylight Studio was star studded. VEVO takes position to be the world’s premiere destination for premium music video and entertainment. The turnout to the event read like a who’s who. RIHANNA, MARIAH & NICK, 50 CENT, WYCLEF JEAN, Q-TIP, JOHN LEGEND, CORRINE BAILEY RAE & more attended.

CANNOOONS! Not Don Cannon but MARIAH & NICK CANNON. They showed up in all Black. Mariah’s black cropped jacket over the knee length corset bodiced dress works for me.

50 CENT made the premier looking a little tired from all the promotional work he’s put into the album. Before I Self  Destruct (see his latest video Do You Think About Me–HERE).Jet lag aside. The jacket is classic–sans the chunky cross though.

JOHN LEGEND came to join the festivities. I wonder when we’ll hear from him again. He’s keeping us waiting.

WYCLEF looks discombobulated more often than not. But when he cleans up, he cleans up nice. This isn’t one of those times.

Q-TIP was spotted at the event.

CORINNE BAILEY RAE joined the slew of New Yorkers. She looks sad to me in these photos. She’s still all beautiful and elegant (check the dress under the badly worn jacket) ever though.
