JAY-Z is trying to strong arm 2010 already–starting with the stroke of midnight on Friday. Jay-Z’s video for On to the Next One will make its premiere during NBC’s New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly, the 40 year old Marcy native announced today. “The real star of any New Year’s Eve show is New York City, and Jay-Z is New York,” Carson Daly said in a statement. “Green Day and Rihanna were already an impressive lineup, and now, with the addition of Jay-Z, it’s our most exciting lineup yet.” Hov announced today (December 28) On to the Next One will be the next video from The Blueprint 3 album. The Swizz Beats produced track will be the fifth video from the rapper’s latest album. We can’t forget RiRi. The two will once again form a tandem to perform the song live together in New York City’s Times Square. A clip will be aired during the special. This year’s live show will be broadcast in primetime from 10-11 p.m. (EST) and the party will continue from 11:30 p.m.- 12:30 a.m.-all in high definition.
