HEY! I know I’ve been SO MIA over here (SHOUTS to Mecca Donna for doing a great job of holding it down) but I wanted to share with you guys the FIRST sneak peek of just one of the things I’ve been busy working on.

On January 12th I watched in horror along with everyone else as Port Au Prince was destroyed – and I knew I had to do something. In the days that followed, it became clear that this tragedy hit closer to home for me than I initially thought and it only heightened my desire to do something to contribute.

So when fellow blogger MARTINE CAUTHEN returned from Haiti (after moving last fall), I knew that her story was one that needed to be told. Within a matter of days, I’d written a script, gotten my team on board and we were in pre-production. The missing piece came into place when Monee and Aleesha came on board.

I can’t tell you the concept, but we were very fortunate to get some interesting and very talented people involved, a few of which are pictured in this post. And I am over the moon that we were allowed to use some beautiful images from the uber talented Adam Sjoberg. And after ten years of working in film & TV, I can proudly say I made my directorial debut…and I couldn’t have picked a better project.
